Notes:

A8 This waltz is of the "Springvals" (running-waltz) type. B1 "Springlek" (literally, running-dance), a close cousin of the Polska, has an exact counterpart, "Springleik," in Gudbrandsdalen, Norway. B3 This waltz is of the "Stegvals" (stride-waltz) type, quite possibly related to the ancient "Långdans" (long-dance), a pre-Polska form also in triple meter.
